Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning
It’s important to keep your dog’s teeth clean and healthy to avoid dental disease which can lead to serious health problems, and we can achieve amazing results using our prestige ultrasonic, non-vibrating tooth cleaner without the need for anaesthetic.
Did you know 80% of dogs already have dental disease by the age of 3 reducing their life expectancy by up to 2 years. Prevention is always better than cure, we can give them a helping hand to reverse the damage done and increase the chances of a long and happy life.
Benefits of Ultrasonic teeth cleaning:
- Reduces bad breath
- Prevents teeth needing to be removed
- Ensures your dog doesn't have any pain
- Reduces high costly bills
- No need for sedation or anaesthesia
How does it work?
The brush is completely silent and non vibrating. It uses ultrasound waves, which when combined with water specially formulated toothpaste creates nano bubbles on the surface of the tooth. These then burst and create a weakness in the plaque and tartar enabling us to safely flick this away from the tooth's surface.
Sniff & Co's Process
Firstly you need to book a trial during which time we will examine your dogs mouth, teeth & gums and alert you of any findings which are abnormal or require veterinary attention, we will then clean one tooth using the ultrasonic cleaning system in order to assess your dogs tolerance to the procedure.
All being well and with your approval we will then proceed (on the day) to a full deep clean treatment, more often than not we can get the teeth looking sparkling after one session, but should your dog need another this would be at an additional cost.
We advise to keep your dogs teeth maintained every 2 months or 6-8 weeks.
Trial & Consultation £25
Major Clean: £95 or £70 with a trial
Minor Clean: £65
Top up / Maintenance 6-8 weekly: £25
Disclaimer: This treatment is NOT designed to replace veterinary dental procedures, however it is a preventative treatment used to maintain good oral health. It is also an alternative solution recommended by many vets to provide teeth cleaning to dogs who are unable to go under anaesthetic. Maintenance cleans must not exceed 8 weekly intervals, in which circumstances a minor/major clean will be required meaning a higher fee due to needing more time and product.
