FAQ (frequently asked questions)

  • What are your prices?
We cannot not list any prices for grooming as every dog is unique with regards to coat condition, style, temperament, size etc.. for example if your dog requires more than one handler and the time needed is much more than another dog of the same breed the price will not be the same due to the extra work, time and skills needed. If you would like a quote we would suggest popping in with your pooch for us to meet them, otherwise give us a call, email or message with some details and a photo and we can usually give you a guide on price from that information
  • Do you need an appointment for nails, ear cleaning or glands?

No you do not! we offer a walk in service for these services so no appointment is required

  • What happens when I bring my dog to the appointment?

We have a discussion about your dogs needs, any important medical history that we need to consider, your desired style & coat condition. We then advise you roughly how long your dog will be with us, once your pooch is fully pampered we will send you a txt message to let you know your furry friend is ready to be collected

  • Do you take cash or card?

We accept both forms of payment

  • Are you taking on new clients?

Yes we are! we do not believe in 'closing our books' we are here to help but please do book in advance as we do get booked up very quickly, especially if you are restricted to weekends etc. We do operate a cancellations list so there is always the chance that we may be able to fit you in sooner if your pooch is desperate let us know!

  • What makes you unique?

We aren't a 'normal' run of the mill groomers, we are a friendly crate free salon, we are also able to perform procedures such as (but not limited to!)  first aid, stitch removal, staple removal, bandage / dressing changes, help with medication, anal gland emptying and ear plucking due to Sarah's Registered Veterinary Nurse Status.

  • Do you groom bitches in season/heat

Yes we do, however we MUST be notified in advance and this is entirely at your own risk and only if your dog is happy being groomed during this time.

  • Do you groom pregnant dogs?

No we do not under any circumstances groom any females following mating, this is because any stress caused can unfortunately put them at risk of miss carrying, if you plan to mate your dog please book them in for a comfort cut where we can ensure a cut is performed to last them during their pregnancy and nursing of their pups without becoming matted.

  • Do you offer evening / weekend appointments?
We usually work alternate saturdays depending upon family commitments however we do not work evenings due to having a young family.
