Hand Stripping
At its simplest, hand stripping simply means using one’s fingers or specialist tools to pluck hair out of the coat, often people choose to hand strip their dog in order to maintain the coats texture and colour which clipping / cutting can alter.
Hand stripping is a specialised service that few groomers offer either because they haven't been taught the skill or simply because they do not enjoy it. However we love it!
Hand stripping is particularly good for breeds such as:
- Cocker Spaniels
- Border Terriers
- Miniature Schnauzer
